Some 4WD systems can damage turf, but not this one. Two hydrostaic transmissions are powered by a common oil pump; they transfer power to differentials which operate four wheels of equal size. By combining this system with steering through an articulated chassis we have a 4WD system that doesn't chew up the ground, even when driven enthusiastically. |
